The California Federation of Women’s Clubs (CFWC) is a statewide non-profit service organization with 10,000 members. Clubs offer leadership and personal growth opportunities to members while enriching the lives of others through philanthropic service. Our motto “Strength United is Stronger” reminds us that more can be accomplished when we unite our efforts to serve others.
General Federation of Women’s Clubs
With more than 63,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state, the District of Columbia, and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage civic involvement, issues related to domestic and sexual violence awareness/prevention, and advocating for children.

Who we are
The GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) Tracy Woman’s Club was founded in October 1921 by a group of women dedicated to learning, personal growth, and community support. For over a century, our club has upheld this noble tradition, proudly celebrating its 102nd anniversary in 2024. Arrange a visit
Our club convenes on the first Friday of each month from September to May. Our lunch fee is $15.00. If you would like to learn more about our club please arrange a visit by emailing our 2nd Vice President Jan McDonnal.
Our Emblem
Miss Bernice Scoville designed the emblem of the California Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1903. The emblem is the insignia of the common causes and creates a spirit of cooperation among those who wear it. The torch represents the educational work of the Federation and invites all to knowledge of the principles of American citizenship.The wings pointing upward are symbolic of the higher thoughts and aspirations that are the aim of all. The band circling both typifies the unbroken chain of strength and loyalty to the clubs and the state organization.

Tracy Our Town USA, 2026
The Tracy Woman’s Club proudly presents “Tracy Our Town, USA” — our 2026 community play celebrating the heart, history, and hometown spirit of Tracy.
This special production brings our town’s stories to life, honoring the people, traditions, and shared experiences that make Tracy such a wonderful place to call home. Through heartfelt performances, laughter, and memorable moments, our incredible cast captures the pride and connection that unite our community.

Club Recognition
On June 4, 2024 our GFWC Tracy Woman’s Club was recognized by County Supervisor Robert Rickman and the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors for our nearly 103 years of Hard Work, Dedication and Commitment to our mission of community improvement by enhancing the the lives of others through volunteer service.
Our Open House
On October 16th, 2024 our club hosted its inaugural open house, welcoming both members and guests interested in learning more about our organization. Attendees had the opportunity to gain insight in our club, its committees and the approved services areas. Additionally, members were able to meet the new incoming board, fostering connections within our community.
